If your hair is passionate minded and need lots of influential to make it go straight, don’t dissipate your money on half-ass straighteners. You’ll eventually stop using it because it’ll take too long and won’t deliver the result you are after.
You cannot go incorrect with GHD straightening iron($300 or so) or Silver Bullet has adjustable temperature for doing porous hurt hair that doesn’t need high temperature.
You can get different sized restraints, mini for fringe, wide plates for doing looong hair, or fixed size.
Excellent thing about the fixed size is that you can also use it to give the well-known "ghd curl". You can also tap your hair or do your fringe. It’s even slim enough to use it on small hair.
If you aren’t interested in making any curl or using on small hair, then I suggest vacant for the wide plate because it’ll be quicker.
I don’t hear very excellent things about the Chi. I just ordered myself a Sedu (1 1/4 inch) but I haven’t used it yet so I couldn’t tell you how it works. It was rated the Customer’s Choice-Best of Folica.com and you can curl and straighten with it. It is 88.00 and I reckon free shipping on http://www.folica.com
i have insanely thick, curly hair and you have to be willing to spend a small extra money on a straightener. Get one of the ones that have adjustable temperature things, also the wet to dry straighteners are pretty excellent even if your hair isn’t wet (i’ve never done my hair wet it takes way too long then)
i have the remington wet 2 straight one, and it works wonders–it really keeps my hair straight all day even if i’m outside and it’s humid my hair doesn’t get frizzy or poofy…except it gets wet of course lol
and it was about 35 dollars for it
you can get them at wal*mart, jewel osco, walgreens, and depending on quality be prepared to spend at least 35 dollars.
YOUcan doubtless get them at other places too but that’s just what i was able to come up with so far.
hope that helped!!
Try the BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium. It comes in a range of plate widths: 1 1/4 inches, 1 1/2 inches and 1 3/4 inches.
It has extended plates, in fact the longest plates ever manufactured on a straightener and reaches temperatures of 450 degrees. The titanium terracotta plates are really excellent to use on your hair as well.
DON’T buy CHI hair straighteners. If you read reviews on them, they have a tendency to break very easily.
Here is a website that has the BaByliss one: http://www.folica.com
Just type babyliss into the search box and it will come up.
You will also notice it has fantastic reviews.
